DESCRIPTION :We have one fully automated computerized warehouse system made in Germany, make is ELECTROLUX CONSTRUCTOR. We want to sell it. We used it to handle aftermarket spare parts service. The mechanic system and the structures is is now professionally dismantled by our personell and packed in 3 stk. 40´containers ready for shipping. All electric and electronic is in our warehouse. We had the system in full operation when we closed it down 3 month ago. Of course all documentation and software is at hand.
We bought the system 1997 for a cost then of EUR 700 000,- The system is ideal for spare-parts service, and e-business. The system is highly efficient, one man can pick and pack up to 5000 order lines/ items pro working day.
The system in this case is called a horisontal DOUBLE HOCA manufactured by ELECTROLUX CONSTRUCTOR in Germany. Absolute top of the line quality and function. The control system is standard industrial type PLC connected via Personal computers to business system. Operators work with PC and windows environment. Can also be operated in stand alone mode without bridging to business system. The system include sophisticated security functions to avoid wrong picking of articles and also control to avoid possible thefts by operators. Assembly and commissioning is simple the machine is modular, like a big Meccano and is assembled with simple hand tools just screws and nuts.
The system is extremely flexible and modular. So there is no adoption for a special type of goods. You can put anything in the warehouse, boxes, bags, bottles. We used it for a mix of parts ranging in weight from grams, like hydraulic seals and electronic components to mechanical parts like pumps and motors with weight of up to 25 kg. This warehouse system stock a almost unlimited number of items as long as the maximum load of 80 tonnes in the system is not exceeded.
The machine is CE-marked.
Each wagon has the inner dimension Height 3800 mm Deep = 600 mm Width = 830 mm, The bottom of the wagon (first shelf) is about 600 mm from floor.
Each wagon is divided in 9 shelfs. Vertical cc between shelfs is 480 mm. The shelfs can be further subdivided with standard plastic storage box if you handle small parts. Or with Cartons or whatever can stand on a steel gitter shelf. The steel design is optimized so it not collect so much dust.
There is 84 wagons in each HOCA = total 168 wagons 1512 shelfs (which can be further subdivided.)
The shelf length in the Warehouse system is ca 1255 m. Shelfs comes comes to the operator without him running around and climbing on ladders or similar solutions. Fast and very efficient.
I attach 5 scanned views from a large drawing, hope that you can pussle them together.
I shall try to arrange some photos.
The concept is that the operator work on the Hubbühne the machine positions the shelfs with high speed in right position for the operator to pick from storage posison (or to load storage position).
A matrix of LED point out the position were the operator shall pick or place the article. A matrix of fotocells checks that the operator pick in right position. In quiet mode the machine produces listings of in which positions there have been pick done that is not ordered by the system. Very handy if articles disappears from warehouse into nowhere J There is also alarm mode where the operator is signaled when he picks wrong, both modes can be run simultaneously to keep the warehouse personel at top.
In batch mode when picking large amounts of different articles, The machine optimize the picking so
that the wagons and the hubbühne runs the most intelligent = shortest way, to give short packing times.
