WH 10 CNC after complete overhaul and updating
A five-axial machine with 4 controlled axes and 1 manual axis (tailstock sleeve withdrawing):
The beds of the X, Y a Z axes have been regrinded ie trued-up and carriages matched to them. This has
been achieved by combination of providing the surfaces under the carriages with a sliding substance and
of coating with the TURCIT sliding mass.
The locating wedges have been coated with the TURCIT sliding mass and matched again.
The turntable has been regrinded and its bed provided with a sliding substance layer. Then, this
machineÅL s geometry has been restored.
Drilling head
Completely overhauled, all bearings replaced, the operating withdrawing spindle is new, the tailstock
sleeve has been repaired.
Traverse screws
The button-headed screws of the X and Z axes are new, the trapeziform screw Y has been replaced by a
new button-headed screw, the W screw has been repaired, the bearings of all screwsÅL beds are new.
Lubrication
The lubricating system incl. shouldering of dispensers has been reconstructed, the distribution system is
new, the SEO 8M Tribotech unit is new.
Hydraulics
A completely new hydraulic unit, new water distribution system, piping replaced by PVC hoses.
Telescopic guards
Delivery and shouldering of all new telescopic guards.
Each axis drive
Each of the driving screws X, Y, Z, and B is driven by an independent driving mechanism by means of
indented belts via installed bearing housings and servomotor fixing flanges.
Surface treatment
An anticorrosive oil-resistant coating on inside surfaces, cementing and grinding of outside surfaces incl.
application of a polurethane coat in the RAL 5002 + RAL 9002 colour shade.
Control system
Shouldering with the Heidenhain iTNC530 DIGITAL Shouldering with the Heidenhain iTNC530 DIGITAL control system equipped with a 15 colour TFT
monitor Heidenhain BF 150. An integrated keyboard incl. Heidenhain TE 535Q machine panel and a

A Heidenhain ROD 486 rotating position reader – 3600 divisions for the B axis (turntable).
