-DESIGN CONCEPT-
This machine is equipped with a manual swivel milling head for changeover
from horizontal to vertical and vertical to horizontal machining. Together
with the full fourth axis NC Rotary Table, 5-Sided 4-Axis simultaneous
machining is possible with one workpiece clamping increasing precision and
saving time by eliminating multiple setups.
This machine is equipped with wide hardened & ground ways for taking heavy
cuts.
-LINEAR GLASS SCALES (0.00004"/0.001 mm RESOLUTION)-
This machine has a direct measuring system using linear glass scales in
X/Y/Z/B. As the measuring system is independent of wear and tear in the
ways or backlash in the ballscrews, very high accuracies are achieved
which are sustained over the life of the machine.
